We all know that you feel cool about air conditioning, but there’s more to it than just cooling us down. It means maintaining the air temperature and humidity (moisture content) in an enclosed space, whether it is a single room or a whole house, at just the right level for people’s comfort inside. It can also circulate the air, if necessary adding moisture to it. Typically, it means removing heat during the summer by passing the air over and through cold pipes collecting water from the air itself. The second form of refrigerant pumps in. When the refrigerant evaporates, the hot air is taken with it and cooled air is left for us to enjoy.
